County taxpayers funded projects across Counties have been emblazoned with portraits of Governors and MCAs as if they were funded by philanthropic funds thus massaging their political egos and perpetuating self aggrandizement courtesy of taxpayers contrary to article 75(1) of the Constitution of Kenya

The matter was filed in the Senate on 17th July 2024

ACTION

I appeared before the committee of Devotion on the matter. There was no objection to the subject matter and it’s on going in the Senate

The nominations of nominated MCAs has been always done in a skewed and obscure manner where a hundreds of nominated MCAs are nominated by the political parties shareholders.
